PoorBoys - SSR-2 Super Swirl Remover Polish

Poorboy's World SSR2 Medium Abrasive Swirl Remover is a moderate polish and swirl remover for light to moderate swirls, scratches, and oxidation that are too pronounced for the light swirl remover. Though this formula has a little more bite than SSR1, it’s still safe for all clear coats, paint finishes, gel coats, chrome, glass, plastic, and Plexiglas.

Poorboy's World SSR2 Medium Abrasive Swirl Remover will not add new scratches as it gently removes existing scratches. Nano abrasive powder enables SSR2 to polish the paint without leaving tell-tale compounding haze. Often in just one step, your vehicle will look flawless.

All Poorboy’s products are formulated to be used in or out of the sun, they will not dry to a stubborn haze or mar your finish if applied in direct sunlight.

Sizes Available: 16oz (473ml) & 32oz (946ml)

Excellent polish that does not splatter and it starts as you would expect but gradually thins to a liquid so it’s like using a medium polish and a finishing polish in one. Leaves a nice swirl free shine. Good product that I would highly recommend.

This is great for removing swirls and really fine scratches... I never expected perfection, but this product is not far off. Recommend all day long.

Used this with the Ultimate German Applicator, car looked the best it has. Granted there wasn't many too many bad swirls/scratches but with a bit of elbow grease it worked a treat. A little bit goes a long way.

Tried this product on a dark grey metallic Mercedes (private car / DIY user), my first experience with PoorBoys. In my opinion its on a par with the Meguiars cutting products, removing light marks with ease but not cutting the more stubborn surface scratches. Would have liked it to be capable of cutting a bit deeper. On the plus side it does leave the paint surface very smooth and receptive to the wax top coat.

I recently bought a three year old car and whilst it is in very good condition it has some of those annoying "brush" scratch marks and across the bonnet were quite a few light scratches, water marks and blemishes. I looked at a lot of scratch removers, mainly Chemical Guys as I tend to use their stuff quite a lot. I have used PoorBoys before (interior cleaner) so I thought I'd give it a go. In a word.......impressive! It has cleaned the bonnet of all the water marks and blemishes and almost cleared all of the scratches. Someone else may look and say "scratch? What scratch?" I have done all the panels on my Zafira, including the roof and it has totally transformed the car. I kid you not. I am using it by hand as I don't own a machine polisher so it's a bit of hard graft but well worth it I think. Definitely on my repeat buy list!!!

I've always been a fan of Megs 105 & 205. However, after being caught short and my regular compound being out of stock I decided to give this a go. I regularly use other products from PoorBoys and am always happy with the results. I turned up at the garage where i was to perform some localised scratch and swirl removal to a black Mercedes. I prepared the car using the usual processes and having already done a test spot i proceeded to season my Orange hex logic pad with the SSR2. It went on easily with good working time. I grabbed my microfibre to wipe off the residue. I wasn't expecting much but i was amazed at the result. It left an almost perfect finish. There was no need at all to refine with a finishing polish as you would normally with megs 105. I gave the panel a wipe with some eraser to make sure but it was truly that good. For the price and smell along with the awesome results this product produces you really can't go wrong.
