Being new to machine polishing i was a little apprehensive to use this on my first ever use. Used with a cg hex logic green pad, i had a few scuffs from where other cars that had skimmed/scraped past in a car park. Really impressed with this, does exactly what it says. took the scuffs right back and then finished it with m205. It does give up a little dust but its easily wiped away and doesn't settle on the paint.used on a 2007 black audi tt mk2, apparently the paint is hard, after 2 passes, the second pass was with a squirt of quick detailer as there was enough polish still on the pad, the scuffs had vanished. Used on speed 4 with das6 pro and the result are great, m205 also leaves a slick deep finish.

I have spent the winter performing a wet sand and polish of my new Jaguar F Type, it is frustrating to find new cars have Orange Peel, but it is a fact of life. After a discussion with Tim at CYC, he advised that #105 and #80 Speed Glaze would be a good approach to removal of the 'sanding marks' once the wet sanding was complete. I sanded with 2000 grit, 3000 grit and finished with 5000 grit, all same direction, having ensured that all edges were masked. The #105 was used with a CG yellow and orange pad on my DAS Pro DA polishing machine and the results were simply astounding. The #105 starts off really gritting, but very quickly breaks down to a smooth paste which brings a brillant shine. You have to work the #105 longer than you think, but it is best to not apply to much pressure and work steady. With the #105 buff complete most people would be happy with the finsh, but if you are like me and are looking for perfection, then I moved on to #80 speed glaze with a CG white pad, which is also a truly excellent product, then I used #7 Show glaze on a CG green pad, then the Ultimate Pre wax glaze on a CG Black pad and completed with #26 Wax with a CG red pad. Trust me the results are simply amazing. The new car finish had shine with Orange Peel, now I have true gloss with a mirror finsh, I cannot stop looking at it. I have now invested in some Dodo Juice Supernatural, as the finish deserves something special. Will report back once receieved. My garage is like a jewelers now !

My assumption is that most final step products produce a good shine. Hence I'm looking at longevity and ease of application. This stuff came out of the tin easily, went on a treat and looks good. If the finish lasts I'll come back and add that last star.

Meguiars 105 is probably the most important product in my Paint Correction kitbag. It is a fantastic product, easy to use and always gives fantastic results so long as it is worked long enough with the correct pad. Always the first choice when paint correcting for me. Produces a fine compounding dust after use, but easily cleaned away....
