Meguiars #101 - Foam Cut Compound
The latest compound from Meguiar's M101 (M10132) Foam Cut Compound offers controlled cutting action for paintwork blemishes and scratches as the starting point for any paint correction process and is specially formulated for European paints.
This is high cut compound, which utilises buffered super-microabrasives. This means it gives much better work times whilst at the same time finishing with very high levels of gloss for a heavy cut compound. It works extremely well on both Dual Action and Rotary polishers.

“Brought a 2017 Audi A6, the paint needed some love and having had experience with Audi paint this didn’t phase me. I went to the d300 and microfibre pads on a das6 to start (great for swirls on Audi paints) and I was finding I was having to do 3 lots of 4 passes in a small area to get a finish I was happy with due to some RIDs. So I thought I’d try some more cut, and boy does the M101 do that! The M101 is like CIF cleaner in feel, and not as lubricated as the d300, however it cuts quick removing swirls and RIDs and leaves a great finish that a light polish will bring to a gloss Amazing product, with the micro fibre you do need to dampen the pad with a bit of water when priming, and also keep fluffing the pads between sections. Great product 5 stars!”

“This is by far THE best compound on the market. There are little choices when you come down to great correction and amazing finish from compound with such abrasives. When used with rotary and foam there is no dust at all, the compound is oily and whipes off like a charm. Ive tried it over AUDI, Merz, BMW, Toyota and many more clearcoats. There is no other product on the market that can tackle ceramic clearcoats like this. When used with DA and MF pad if the pad is not primed correctly (product and water) there is dust, but OH well...by duster :).”
