Lake Country - Hydrotech 5.5" Cutting Pad
The Lake Country - Hydro Tech Blue foam is designed for compounding and swirl removal.
This closed cell pre-polymer foam restores oxidized and heavily swirled paint. Looks can be deceiving; the blue pad looks coarse but actually finishes with no marring.

“I have always used Chemical Guys Hex-Logic pads, but as they are now getting tired, I thought I'd try these. Used this with Scholl S3 XXL Gold on a Black Focus ST with pretty dull, Flat & Swirled paint, and the results were amazing. The cut is very good and finishes down really nicely. Think I'm going to upgrade my pads to these ones. Alot easier to use than the CCS pads which I tried too.”

“These pads have aggressive cutting action and do a great job at that. However sadly I found that these pads fall to pieces very quickly. Currently changing now to another brand to see if any better in terms of durability.”
