The Menzerna kit is the ideal kit for tackling all harder paints, but thats not to say it doesn't work wonders on softer paints as well. Dual action polishers are very popular with car enthusiasts and professionals a like as they are low risk but give much better results than polishing by hand. With a powerful 650w motor it is possible to removes scratches and swirl marks when used in conjunction with a machine polish. It is also perfect for applying glazes, sealants and waxes.

Improvements for the DAS-6 v2 mean it has been specifically counter-weighted for use with 5 (125mm) pads and also now features a much more user friendly 5 meter cord.

“I'm not a committed detailer but I like to look after my car. The black roof of my mini clubman suffered some scratches, I believe from the February storm. It was going to be a hard job to polish out manually so I bought this DA polisher. I've never used a machine polisher on a car before so I practised on a metal fan stand that needed some tlc. That came up a treat, so on to the car roof. I started with the medium cut pad and Menzerna compound. Took me about 3 hours and I could see a vast improvement in the paint condition. Most of the scratches were gone. In hindsight I should've started with the heavier cutting compound and pad but it turned out pretty good for a first time. Took a lot of the elbow grease out of polishing a large area and has been a worthwhile purchase.”
