Awkward to apply outside as with any Si02 product but i love this stuff. All the cars have at least the windscreen done. Huge improvement to wet weather safety.

Watch the video on YouTube to get the full instructions on preparation and application. Takes a fair amount of time to fully complete application (approx 1 hour) but worth it. Rain now simply flows straight off the front and rear windscreens.

Product so far is great. Works just as I had hoped with water running straight off the windsheild once you get to around 37mph (just like you see on all youtube videos of the product). It is also really satisfying to watch when this happens! Application of the G4 was the hardest part (I never seem to be very good with polish and getting that removed to apply the G1 took much longer than I expected). The bottles of G! and g" which Gtechniq supply are quite small and I did need the full bottle of G1, but the instructions state to apply 3 coats on the windsheild, and only one on the other panes of glass (as they are more vertical they need less product). Time will tell if it lasts the 12 months Gtechniq state (I doubt it will), but even if it lasts 6 months I will be happy with the purchase and get more in the future.

I have used this product on my last 3 cars and the results are always fantastic. This kit is great value for money. Just follow the instructions and for the average driving, this will last 2 years easily. I have to apply this outside as I don't have the luxury of a garage big enough to get the vehicle in, I pick an overcast day and the only thing I do differently is after using the G2 I use a short pile microfibre with a 50/50 mix of isopropanol and water to match sure I have removed all of the G1, then buff with a dry cloth.

bought this kit primarily to treat the side and rear glass of my Focus ST. I started on one side and moved around he car adhering to the instructions to the letter and used three coats. The smaller bottles were almost used up, considering I was using it as per instructions, so there would not be enough to have done the windscreen anyway. To completely cover all the cars glass they need to increase the size of the two smaller bottles G1 and G2. G6 and G4 were adequate. All done on a dry mild day. Today I drove the car for the first time with the treated glass. Firstly the rain water was beaded onto the glass, whereas the promotion for this shows water sheeting off. Driving, the water did steam away but did not completely disappear. I am disappointed with this product. Will not be buying anymore and will not be recommending it to other car buffs. I have had better results by just using quality polishes. There was nothing special about this product. Sorry but this is my experience using it and I wouldn't stop anyone trying it. This is my opinion.
