How to Apply Gtechniq C5 Wheel Sealant

Wash and decontaminate your wheels with Gtechniq cleaning products including, Gtechniq W5 Citrus All Purpose Cleaner and Gtechniq W6 iron & Fallout Remover.
Wipe down each wheel before application with Gtechniq Panel Wipe – this will ensure the best possible bond. Please be careful with smart repairs on your wheels as this may strip the paintwork on them
Shake well before use and wear gloves
Soak the Gtechniq AP1 Lint Free Applicator pad provided with several drops of product, and spread the coating onto the surface of your rim – no more than ½ a wheel each time
Once you have spread the coating, buff residue within 30-60 seconds with an Gtechniq MF1 ZeroR Microfibre Buff Cloth
Repeat the process on all of your wheels
Allow the coating to cure indoors for 12 hours before exposing to the elements
Suitable for gloss, satin and matt rim finishes

Store in a cool, dry place & if opened, use within 3 months, if unopened, use within 12 months

“Tried this on a brand new set of wheels I bought and I have to say 6 months down the line I still can't get over how well it works. Brake dust, dirt and road grime just rinses off the wheels, even the rain washes it off!. Still going strong after 6 months of daily driving and I hope it continues.”

“I used this product in the hope of protecting my brand new car's polished alloys. I did a 'proper job' and removed them, cleaned them as thoroughly as possible, and then applied a thin coating of C5 inside and out. It is very easy to apply, almost too easy, but you can tell just by touching the surface after application that it's done something - the surface feels amazingly slick. I gave my car it's first proper wash yesterday, and - as hoped for - the pretty dirty wheels came up 95% perfect with just a power wash, and a quick flick over with a wheel brush and shampoo and they are like new. Even tar spots just rubbed off. This product is so 'hydrophobic' it's amazing, water beads like crazy, and when I applied a quick spray of Autoglym allow wheel seal - just to add a little shine - that product also beaded too! Not necessary it seems, once dry just a quick polish with a micro-fibre cloth is all that's needed. Very impressed.”

“Gtechniq c5 is an exceptional product just like the exo,i used it on my white wheels on my mitsubishi 3000gt,before i applied the c5 the only way i was able to keep the wheels looking their best was to t cut them once a week as the brake dust was sticking to them that badly(i kid you not)but now all i have to do is give them a quick wipe over with a micro fibre cloth which takes seconds and they look as good as the day i applied the product,and as for the exo i dont even bother washing the car anymore its just a 5 min wipeover once a week with a micro fibre cloth and it looks freshly washed and waxed (not that ive ever found a wax that makes the car shine like this all the time at any price) highly recommended.”

“Ive just had my wheels painted and wanted them protected and was told about C5. It was easy to apply and wipe off but you only need a few drops per wheel as it spreads very well! I havent yet fitted the wheels so im yet to see how well they are protected but im sure i wont be dissapointed!”

“This product leaves a great finish and leaves wheels soo easy to clean. I can now just pressure wash them off and use a mild shampoo solution if needed. Water just beads straight off them.”
