Application Advice

Clean tyres (remove old dressing/browning). We stock a range of dedicated tyre cleaners & brushes to help with this.
Apply a small amount to a foam tyre applicator, such as the Meguiar's Tyre Dressing Applicator
Work evenly around the sidewall; level excess.
Allow to dry; wipe any overspray from wheels.

Tip: For minimal sling, use sparingly and let the first coat cure before moving the vehicle.

“Best tyre dressing I have found. You definitely need an applicator though. Can end up messy when applying it. On some occasions the tyre shine can spin off and leave spots on the paint and wheels. However the endurance is beyond reproach it last well.”

“After thinking that tyre dressing were one and the same I tried this recently and changed my opinion. It applies easily, a little goes a long way and it is as bout as durable as you can get. It leaves a genuine deep black look without looking fake and overly shiny. It does attract dust however, but that is a small criticism when it does everything else right.”

“Absolutely fantastic- since I bought this product for the first time a few years back I've used nothing else. Tried a load beforehand that wore off after a few days but this can last a couple of weeks. Easy to apply, a little goes a long way- brilliant!”

“Works well and does exactly what it says on the tin (bottle?). Loses a point for being rather messy to apply. Even when storing the applicator in a plastic bag, the gel still seems to slightly seep through the bag.”

“Great product! As everyone else has mentioned, it smells good and it lasts. I do around 500 miles a week and even in the winter it'll stay very noticeably for 1.5-2 weeks + I just use a washing up sponge (not the abbrasive side if it has one) rather than a dedicated applicator because I'm tight but I use gloves too as it's very greasy to the touch. Be sure to wipe product out of tyre grooves on the wall to prevent spin off.”

“Very nice smelling product. Very thick and easily and nicely to apply. Lasts very short time as for me, after few days all the shine disappears, especially on hot days. Hope the protection still stays for the tire.”

“Fantastic product. I bought the pad recommended to go with it so that I have a product dedicated for applying this to tyres. Works fantastically well, gel sits on pad nicely and then you spread it around, I do two applications about a half hour apart for high glossy finish, which I like. The best part about the product is how long it lasts, my tyres still have a good black finish, not high gloss, but notably clean, and this is after about a month of really awful rain, and quite a bit of driving. You don't need to use much either, so it will last ages, and for that price, I think it's fantastic.”
