Valet Pro - Bilberry Wheel Cleaner

Valet Pro Bilberry is an outstanding acid free wheel cleaner.

Bilberry wheel cleaner from Valet Pro is one of our most popular products and rates highly from the people who have used this. Your wheels can take a battering whether it's brake dust, salt or just general road dirt and this product doesn't need to be agitated, just spray on, leave for a few minutes then rinse off. It's a concentrated formula that can be used a different strengths depending on the level of dirt to be removed. It can be used concentrated for really caked on grime or as little as 10:1 for general maintenance.

Valet Pro Bilberry wheel cleaner is an acid free cleaner so safe for most wheels, but we recommend checking in an inconspicuous area if you're unsure.

Valet Pro Bilberry smells great and offers fantastic value for money when diluted.

Dilutions:

Heavy Soil - use neat or dilute 1:1 trigger spray on wheel allow to dwell for 5 to 10 minutes agitate then jet wash off.
Lightly Soiled - dilute 1:5 trigger spray on then simply jet wash off for clean wheels.

Can be diluted up to 1:10 and still be effective !!!

I bought my 3 year old car 6 months ago and the previous owner had clearly never cleaned the inside of the wheels. I purchased this product as it was recommended by a friend. It cleaned all the loose dirt and grime well but it did not touch the heavy baked on brake dust. I diluted the product to the suggested ratio and I left it on for 30 mins which is more than the suggested time and rinsed but the results were disappointing. I then repeated the process using a neat solution but scrubbed the wheels with good quality wheel brushes using additional cleaner mixed with water but still disappointing results. The baked on brake dust would not shift. The only way I could remove the heavy stuff was to use a very fine piece of worn wet and dry paper and lightly rub the areas dipping the paper in the cleaner mixed with water and it worked well. I would be careful trying this method as you can remove the coating on the wheels if you rub to hard. Now hopefully with regular cleaning this product will be fine and I will never have to use such drastic measures again.

Bilberry wheel cleaner is just about the best on the market but it does have limitations. If you are starting from reasonably well maintained wheels its great as part of a weekly maintenance wash. If your starting point is cleaning wheels that have gone years without cleaning then Bilberry will give you ok results but wont remove all the staining. For that you might consider a more aggressive product to get your wheels up to par before reverting to Bilberry. Great smell horrible and doesnt react with bare metals in the way that acidic cleaners do. Overall a smart buy and Id recommend it!

As a wheel cleaner, for the professional or keen weekend detailer, this has to be the product of choice. I've sprayed a few gallons of this at alloys over the years and even the dirty beasts will come up looking sexy after a good soak and a rub with an EZ Detail brush. I use it neat with a good chemical resistant sprayer and treat them to a Kranzle bath. No effort, great finish!

This is a fantastic product and makes cleaning Alloy wheels a delight! Makes even the dirtiest wheels simple and with a little bit of time to allow the Billberry Cleaner to work its magic, it brings the wheels up like new. My son bought me a small bottle for Christmas and I was so pleased I went for the 5 litres drum when stocks were getting low!

Great product. Quick to use and quick results. Many commuter miles of baked on brake contamination was shifted in minutes and without the chemical stink of other products. Recommend you use a funnel to pour from 5 ltr container as it gulgs out of bottle and don't want to waste a drop.

What to say about this one. You can use it anywhere from neat on filthy wheels all the way down to a 1 in 10 dilution for a quick soapy scrub. This makes it very versatile and economical. It's pretty mild (but don't let it dry on your wheels obviously) and smells of fruit. The colour is very strong and it can stain textiles, concrete drives etc. so some care is needed. But all in all, this is a favourite wheel cleaner with hoards of detailers for good reason - it is just that good!
