“pad wouldn't stay on my meguiars g220 v2 backing plate, seems either my backing plate isn't velcro sticky enough or the pad. Either way kept coming off. Pad didn't do an amazing job either whilst on. Cannot recommend.”

I would suggest it's your backing plate as you also reviewed the finishing pads for the same. Switch the backing plate and the pads are actually very good.

“Came with the Das Pro 6plus as a kit of Meguires products. Made a good job lightly cutting my black jag with the Correction Compound supplied. I misted the pad with water as l put more compound on (saw this suggestion online somewhere). Need to brush the pad regularily to keep the fibres free. Washed the pad after use.”
