Dodo Juice Lime Prime Lite
Dodo Juice Lime Prime Lite is like its brother Dodo Juice Lime Prime but without the micro-abrasives, perfect if you’ve finished the polish step or have no real imperfections and want a pre-wax cleaner without the abrasives. With no abrasives, Dodo Juice Lime Prime Lite is also a really good choice for soft paints as well as trims.
Dodo Juice Lime Prime Lite preps the paints surface ready for the waxing stage and optimises the performance of the wax. The natural oils create a glossier surface that is thoroughly cleaned and ready for a good coat of wax. And of course like its sibling, you’ll still be able to enjoy the lime fragrance.
Although Dodo Lime Prime Lite can be applied by hand, for best results use with a Dual Action Car Polisher.
Detailing newbies may prefer Supernatural Micro Prime, both of which are easier to apply but won't mar soft paint.

“I prefer to use DDJ Lime Prime Lite before polishing and IPA after. Before polishing ensures the surface is clear of any residues from tar removal and clay baring. Smells good and goes on and comes off really well. Leaves a perfect surface for polishing.”

“I must say I umm'd and aah'd quite a bit before deciding to spend the money on this.. it's expensive stuff! BUT SO WORTH IT!! First car I used this on was a red MG ZR.. absolutely peppered with thick stuck on tar spots.. a seriously mucky pup! Scrubbed it down ready for claying.. unfortunately I'd run out of my heavy duty clay, and tar x.. the fine clay bar didn't even touch the clay, only the stuck-in mud. So out came the LPL! Started it on a cloth to test on an inconspicuous panel.. much to my surprise and delight, the tar spots there WIPED CLEAN OFF! No effort at all! Straight out came the DA, and Chemical Guy's Hexlogic White pad (Also from Clean your car!) soaked it in LPL, and started working it into the panels.. I've never seen such a deep clean before.. I always thought my pressure wash, microfibre mitt, two-bucket method got cars squeaky clean. Have to say I was very wrong!!! Lime Prime Lite made the car come up absolutely brilliantly.. tar spots - gone. Ingrained dirt - gone. Paint surface looked absolutely brilliant. The fruit oils in LPL did serious wonders to revitalise the tired, dry and dusty look that red paint often develops. Now the most impressive bit! On the rear bumper, there was a nasty looking scrape on the skirt.. where someone with a black car had obviously scrubbed past it in a car park leaving behind light scratches, ingrained paint and scrubbed-in tar. a few moments working in the LPL and BOOM! GONE!!! You'd never even know it ever happened!! Much to both mine and the owners delight. SO easy to apply with a DA, EASY to wipe off with a microfibre towel/cloth, and left the car squeaky clean and ready for glazing and waxing. Seriously impressed. Will buy again. And brilliant service from the guys at Clean Your Car. Packed properly, shipped super fast. Buy it. You won't regret it!”

“Only been into detailing for a couple of years and ive only just started to learn about pre-wax cleansers. This is the 1st cleanser I have used (apart from standard glazes if you believe they cleanse) and I was really impressed both times I used it. Its one of the easiest products to apply/remove I have used, and once done it leaves the clear coat feeling really naked (I know it sounds strange but you will understand once you have tried it). This product made my current wax of choice (AutoGlym HD wax) last nearly twice as long as usual. This 'lite' version is better suited to me as 9 times out of 10 I polish using a DA before waxing, so the abrasives in the normal lime prime are not needed. Great service from CYC as usual.”

“After a wet winter and several snow-foam and double bucket washes I thought all traces of old wax would be gone. LPL showed me different. Applied with a pad, goes on and buffs off much easier than equivalent Megs product that I had been using before. Faint lime fragrance, mmm. Everything is visibly cleaner and ready for a coat of Blue Velvet.”

“I use a lot of Dodo Juice and Chemical Guys products. LPL is just brilliant - it requires no effort whatsoever to lay on, take off - and provides the perfect base for a coat of SuperNatural Hybrid or Blue Velvet. Would give it 5 stars if only it were a bit cheaper.”

“Excellent pre-wax cleaner with an especially strong post-polish cleansing action which leaves the paint creaking clean and in the best state possible ready for the wax. Furthermore, it can renovate raw plastics and draw out polish marks. In a word, "excellent"!”
