Dodo Juice Hard Candy Hard Wax – High-Gloss Protection for All Paint Colours

Dodo Juice Hard Candy is a versatile, colour-neutral hard wax suitable for all paint types and shades. Formulated with premium Brazilian carnauba and a carefully balanced blend of natural waxes, Hard Candy creates a crisp, glassy gloss that works beautifully across solid, metallic, light and dark colours.

Its hard consistency allows for thin, controlled application, making it highly economical and ideal for layering. Once cured, Hard Candy forms a durable hydrophobic coating that enhances slickness, sheds water effortlessly and protects the surface against the elements, road contaminants and wash-induced grime.

The finish delivers a sharp, reflective shine with excellent clarity—perfect for detailers and enthusiasts seeking strong protection and a universally impressive gloss.

Absolutely fabulous results, it transformed my 12 year old audi. Bit pricey but worth it. I'll be a life time customer.

I researched this purchase fairly carefully and having read all the blurb about carnauba etc I ended up a bit disappointed with the result. Particularly as for the first time I had fully prepped the car (e.g. Including claying etc). The wax is pleasant enough to use and gives a good result. However I dont see any particular difference in the end result to AG extra gloss which I have used a number of times before and is significantly cheaper and easier to apply (and I'm lead to believe lasts longer than a wax).

This stuff smells divine! As soon as I opened the jar I thought "This should be burning in the living room, not smothered over the car". Honestly, it smells THAT nice! The wax itself takes a little while to get 'warmed up' in terms of transferring to the pad to apply but after a few smears soon starts loading perfectly. Applies really well to the paintwork and cures fairly quickly. Buffing was done by hand with a microfibre and the results are incredible. Put two thin coats on over the course of a couple of hours and this morning's rain has beaded or just run off. Time will tell how long it lasts, but the finish on the car would suggest it'll be there for a while. No problem if it isn't though, as there's enough of this stuff to last a LOT longer than the car will (unless I decide to use it as a candle instead!).

After buying a Meg's clay surface kit I began to use the free sample of cleaner wax that came with it. However, when that inevitably ran out I decided to purchase some higher quality wax and thus I purchased some Dodo Juice: Hard Candy. All I can say is I am absolutley blown away. The wax is simple and easy to apply with a foam applicator pad and the finish was phenominal. Also, from the amount that was needed to do a full coat I can safely assume one pot will last an extensive amount of time.

This is the first proper wax product I've used, so can't compare with other products, but I found it easy to apply (using foam pad) and gives a great finish.

I've been using PB's Natty Blue for a while now and fancied a change seeing as every man and his dog has been raving on about this DoDo stuff ! So, I applied a single coat to the bonnet of the car to see what difference it made over the PB's. Straight away it adds a level of depth that the PB's didnt have, water beading is much much tighter and from what i can tell it lasts a lot longer too !
