Dodo Juice - Born Slippy 500ml

Clay and lubricant are meant to be together like Ant and Dec.

Claying removes surface contaminants that are well bonded to the surface and to stop marring and help the clay glide you need a good lubricant. Dodo Juice Born Slippy really lives up to its name, as a shampoo based lubricant it provides unrivalled lubrication that enhances the work of the clay.

Dodo Juice Born Slippy is specifically designed as a clay lube so will give you less marring and because it’s from Dodo Juice is smells lovely too. The only downside we’ve found with Born Slippy is that you can’t get that Underworld song out of your head.

500ml spray bottle.

I use this along with the Meguires mild clay bar. Works a treat, I’ve never scratched the finish but I’m certainly not shy with it. Be generous, your paint will thank you. Just purchased the concentrated version to refill my original bottle. Great idea.

I've used this clay lube for years now, can't fault it. It's cheap enough and in my opinion best, easy to wipe away after you've clayed, oh n smells good while your using it.

Very happy with born slippy. Performed much better than a detailing spray for claying! I'm not sure if it really enhanced the cleaning performance as much as the bottle says, but my clay did clean very well do can't prove or disprove that statement, but it was definitely a better lubrication that detailing spray, and it gets a bit soapy so I suppose this helps the dirt slide off when wiping. Regarding the smearing talked about in reviews above, I agree it does happen but if and ONLY if you allow the product to dry - which you should never allow your clay lube to to. Even an expensive Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Detailer spray will smear if you spray it onto a hot panel, or in the sun, or just allow it to dry.. This needs to be sprayed on, working in a small panel section at a time, and wiped off with a microfiber towel as soon as the surface is sufficiently cleaned and smoothed by the clay so as to prevent the lube from drying. I always clay while the car is still wet after rinsing my shampoo off, so as to keep the lube going, and I find a damp towel is great for wiping off the lube. Overall Happy - the economical refill method should prove cheaper than using expensive detailing sprays as lube (bit of a waste and not what they were truly meant for!) so 5* from me!

Excellent product used Valet Snow Foam for a few years now, first time purchased from this supplier, but will be purchasing from the same supplier in the future.

Purchased with multiple products to ensure I had everything to detail my car. Nice item, would I buy again, probably not. I will just refill the spray bottle with water.

Based upon the reviews I bought this over ClearKote QuickShine which I have used before but is out of stock. So far not that impressed, it dries very quickly with smeary marks, the spray bottle is also a bit cr@p. If the ClearKote was in stock I'd buy it over this.

I used this lube with a really cheap clay from a local store and couldn't fault it. Does what it says, just as it should and smells good. Will use again
