Transparent Car Wash Bucket

The CleanYourCar standard bucket is a 5 US Gallon (22 litre) premium car wash bucket. Made from ultra tough HDPE plastic, this is ceratinly one bucket that will last many years.

The reason these car wash buckets may cost a little extra over the cheaper ones you find on other sits is these are imported from the USA. What that means is they are a perfect fit for the car wash filter systems, such as Grit Guards & Dirt Lock filters. These American products were designed to specifically fit this style bucket. They also accept most of the higher quality lids and other bucket accessories on the market.

We always recommend when detailing and generally maintaining a vehicle to always to use two buckets, one for rinsing & one for wash solution. This separation means dirt rarely reaches the wash bucket dramatically reducing swirls. Add a bucket filter to the wash for an even safer wash.

“I purchased 2 buckets with the chemical guys grit guard. When receiving the buckets they are of good quality and seem very well made. I then fitted the grit guard and its a very poor fit. It fits about 5 inches from the bottom of the bucket and hard to get in place. This was annoying as the whole reason for buying this bucket was to fit the grit guard which in the description said it fits. I thought I would give it a go any way and when the hot water was in the bucket the grit guard fitted a little better but when using it the grit guard popped out of place and lifted up due to it not sitting on the bottom of the bucket which made the whole process useless. I emailed clean your car with pictures and never got a reply. Overall very disappointed. If you want a sturdy bucket then this is for you but don't expect the chemical guys grit guard to fit.”

Hi James, in defence of the bucket it's the Chemical Guys Dirt Traps that seem a little bit odd. The Grit Guards do fit perfectly but those would seem to be a bit wider than a grit guard. If you want to swap them over for the proper grit guards that do fit we can do that for you. Tim
