Car Pro - Polyshave Decontamination Clay Towel
CarPro Polyshave Decontamination Towel is a simple and fast method to remove contaminants from the surface of exterior automotive finishes and glass. With advanced Rubber Polymer Technology bonded to a 12" x 12" Microfiber towel you have another excellent option from CarPro for eliminating the need for detailing clay.
Decontamination of the paint surface is critical to proper auto care for a multitude of reasons. To begin with you want to remove all contaminants before polishing, so you can work on a clean canvas rather than dragging tiny contaminants across the paint during the polishing phase. Using the CarPro Polyshave Decontamination Clay Towel you can remove surface bonded contaminants and use Iron X to remove anything below the surface of the paint as well.
For years clay was the cornerstone of vehicle decontamination but now with our Polyshave Towels, Pads, and Blocks, Iron X, TRIX, and Tar X we offer a variety of methods to remove decontamination from the surface. Like clay the Polyshave Decon Towel removes the above surface contaminants but unlike clay it is not nearly as time consuming. Also if you drop it, it can simply be rinsed off and used again. The CarPro Polyshave towel not only rinses easily but outlasts clay time and again.

I'm not a detailing pro... This thing removes stuff really well! However, go easy on the really tough stuff. I'm 99% certain I dragged something over the paint and scratched it, that said I probably should have used something else to move it, my own fault.

First time I have used one of these cloths and was very impressed. Live in an area surrounded by trees, so the car gets spotted with sap. Have used clay to get this off previously, as regular washing doesn't touch it, but thought I would give the cloth a try. Got really fantastic results in less than a third of the time. Left the paintwork looking glassy smooth! Highly recommend this to anyone looking to save some time in their detailing routine!

I used this for the first time instead of a clay bar to detail a friends Aston Martin Vantage as I thought it would be slightly more forgiving than traditional clay bar. Did a great job used with Meguiars Ultimate QD spray. As per a number of instructions on forums I used very little pressure and kept rotating and rinsing the towel. You can hear and feel the difference as all the contaminants are removed. Size of the towel also means it clays a car in about a 1/3rd of the time and it is lot easier to hold and therefore less easy to drop than a clay bar.

Just started getting into detailing a bit more seriously and thought I'd buy this instead of a clay bar, why not, explore all the options the detailing world has to offer. I used ordinary clay bars before and with them, if you dropped it they were done for, but this however! You can drop it on the ground, rinse it off and it's as good as new! Bit on the pricey side (for some) but worth every penny! Don't think I'll ever have to use a clay bar again....
