Collinite No.476S Super Double Coat wax
Collinite 476s is a real enthusiasts wax, no added gimmicks just a hard working and durable wax. This wax stands up to rain, snow, salt, dust and grime so is perfect for a winter wax when you need that extra protection. Collinite 476s also protects against UV so good for the summer months too. In fact Collinite claim you can get up to 12 months protection from 476s.
With all that durability you might wonder if you miss out on shine, well actually no. Collinite 476s adds a real deep gloss to solid colours and makes metallic flakes come to life.
Collinite 476s is a carnauba based paste wax with no cleaners. When you come to applying Collinite 476s use a foam wax applicator pad, allow to cure before buffing off with a microfibre towel, for best results apply in multiple thin layers.

“I got a small tin of this as a birthday present. It's the first and only wax I have really used, but it seems to give a nice shine to my "Black Magic" Fabia vRS and the protection seems to last a long time, in that it continues to bead well for ages. So I bought this larger tin...! Great stuff.”

“I took advice from this site and used this stuff sparingly using a foam applicator, it went on easily, and i left it for about 5 minutes or so and buffed off which was childs play. After doing the whole car I waited a few hours and gave it another coat. 1 month later after a small wash the car is still beading water like it was just applied. I have faith this stuff is going to last a long time. Strongly recommended.”

“Great product. goes on easy and comes off easy as well, the trick is NOT to plaster it on just use sparingly, and only do a couple of panels at a time. Then go back and buff the first panel then wax the third then buff the second and so on. I don't know why they say it smells bad because I love the smell. Would defiantly recommend it, great results”

“Great product - goes on easy with a damp applicator pad or microfibre pad, let dry to haze and buff off - 2-3 applications work best I think and lasts quite a while but I wonder how long it actually does last! Makes dark paint pop and quite glossy so am happy with it so far!”

“very good, hasnt rained where i live for about 5 days applied collinite 476s and ran the hosepipe over the car! couldnt believe what i was seeing. the water just rolls off its amazing!”

“I bought this wax for the winter period, as my P21 wax was only lasting 3-4wks in the summer. The wax is very easy to apply and remove, and gives a great glossy, wet look to the paint in low light levels. When the sun is out the metallic flake really stands out. Not yet found out how durable it is, but the beading - compared to P21's - was pronounced. The beads were taller and rounder, and more tightly packed. It looked fantastic!”
