Collinite No.476S Super Double Coat wax

Collinite 476s is a real enthusiasts wax, no added gimmicks just a hard working and durable wax. This wax stands up to rain, snow, salt, dust and grime so is perfect for a winter wax when you need that extra protection. Collinite 476s also protects against UV so good for the summer months too. In fact Collinite claim you can get up to 12 months protection from 476s.

With all that durability you might wonder if you miss out on shine, well actually no. Collinite 476s adds a real deep gloss to solid colours and makes metallic flakes come to life.

Collinite 476s is a carnauba based paste wax with no cleaners. When you come to applying Collinite 476s use a foam wax applicator pad, allow to cure before buffing off with a microfibre towel, for best results apply in multiple thin layers.

“Quite surprised at the glossy finish from Collinite. Wax went on in such a thin film that I thought I was rubbing with a clean rag - but the gloss came up well on all sufaces. But this is the main thing - 3 weeks later my car retains its glossy surface and it seems to repel any dirt or dust. A short wash will quickly restore the finish. We have had 3 weeks of dry weather so maybe the grime will be repelled less in the rain, we will see. A very good product”

“we bought this to wax our Motorhome and found it really easy to apply. That little tin goes a long long way as we haven't even used half a tin on an 8 metre Motorhome. You can clearly see the rain beading. Very pleased so far and hopefully it will last a good 12 months before repeating.”

“Good quality polish easy to apply producing an excellent showroom shine. Don't know if it lasts for a whole year as advertised but I polish my car weekly anyway. Bit pricey ! but I will continue using this product”

“The guys at 'Clean your car' recommended this product for a longer lasting finish. To date (1 month after application) it is living up to their recommendation and still beading nicely. Easy to apply and buff off as long as you work small areas at a time (e.g. half a door panel). I will re-review at 3 months.”

“I bought this wax as my previous one did not last too long. I found this easy to apply and buff to a very good shine. Buffing off to a shine I found was easier and more effective by using a square piece of cotton woven mutton cloth rather than a microfibre cloth. Durability I cannot comment on as up to now we haven't had any rain since I waxed the car. I like to wax my car every second wash so durability should not be problem.”

“Easily applied wax and good value compared to other products in market. Does what it meant to do. When using wax best to use light layers instead of lutting too much as this can make it harder to get off. Protects car for long time and water beads off nicely.”

“Over 30 years of trying the latest, bestest, newest and waxes over £100. Non of them even get close to the durability of Collinite476s. Most recently ive used it on my motorhome and literally all the van needs is a light hose down after a trip away. Dont think the ' Shine ' aspect is poor either is a beautiful warm glossy sumptuous shine. Ive often fell for the hype that new 'wonder products' get on various forums. Buy this wax and like me you will think there is absolutely no need to try any other waxes”
