Collinite #476s & Carlack Kit
This Collinite & Carlack sealant kit is we feel is the perfect set of products to clean and protect your car throughout the year.
The kit consists of:
- Carlack 68 - Nano Systematic Care 500ml
- Collinite 476s super double coat (9fl ounces)
- Foam applicator
- Blue Perl Applicator pad
- 2 x Microfibre buffing towels
The Carlack Nano systematic care is a world class paintwork cleanser & sealer in one. Re-branded across the world the Carlack formula using Nano technology is a totally non abrasive paintwork cleaner that is capable of removing road film, oxidisation, tar spots and general contamination harmful to the surface of your paint. The real benefit of this product is that it also lays down a layer of super durable German acrylic polymers which will protect the surface of the paint from things such as road salt and industrial fallout. We've found in our own tests, on it's own after one layer will give in excess of three months worth of protection.
Once the paintwork has been prepped (the key to achieving the perfect finish) we have also included a 9 ounce tin of Collinite 476s wax. This wax imported directly from New York is renowned for it's legendary durability. For the winter months it is almost the perfect car wax because not only does it leave a mirror wet finish but it also protects like no other carnauba based wax. After two layers this wax has been know to last well in excess of 6 months beading water which simply rolls off the car.
We've also included in this kit all the accessories you need to apply and remove the products and with a normal retail price of just over £30 it's a bit of a bargain too!
Instructions:
Step 1 - First soak the microfibre applicator in water and squeeze out the excess until it's damp. Apply a small amount of Carlack Nano as shown below which is more than enough to do one panel. Apply to the whole car.
Step 2 - Buff of the product using a microfibre cloth included once the product has hazed.
Step 3 - Using the foam applicator included. Apply the Collinite wax as thinly and evenly as possible to a panel. With this particular wax I like to work a panel at a time. Applying the product then waiting until it has hazed on the panel before bussing off with a fresh microfibre cloth. It's important to use a clean microfibre for this stage so there is no cross contamination of product.
Step 4 - Wait for it to rain and the the water simply bead and roll off the car.

Almost 10 years ago I was introduced to Zymol by a professional detailer. The kit was expensive, but the results were like nothing I'd ever seen before. It was a labour of love to go through all the stages of wash/clay/cleanse/wax, but the feel and finish was outstanding. The price of zymol has risen faster than petrol over the last few years, so I've been looking for a set of substitutes for a long time. In this kit I think I've found it. I discovered a link to this set through research on detailing world forum, and I'm so glad I found it. A year of using autoglym regularly had left my car in terrible condition, and the paint was rough, dry, and covered in tar spots. Despite a full wash and super-resin polish at Christmas, including the extra gloss sealant, by February the bodywork was filthy and no longer beading water despite weekly washing. It was a depressing mess. When the weekend arrived, I unwrapped the surprisingly small package and re-read the instructions online. A wash, de-tar (with Tardis) and clay had the paintwork smooth as glass. Using the damp MF applicator I applied the Car-Lack sparingly panel by panel, going around the whole car. It didn't look like I was using enough but I spread it as far as possible. It had a minimum of 30 mins to dry, but probably double before I wiped swiftly and so easily away with clean MF. Then, one panel at a time, I applied the Collinite with the foam pad, and allowed to dry briefly before buffing with the other supplied MF. The metallic flake was shimmering, and the paint had that glassy, wet-look we strive for. I was astounded by both how easy these products applied and buffed, and by the results. It doesn't fill or hide the scratches, but it does leave the paint feeling wonderful and appears to provide excellent protection. Inevitably it rained later that day, and the beading was excellent, as per the photos from other users. It was wet and windy all night, but when the rain finally stopped next morning the on going wind blew the car almost completely dry. This kit is fantastic, it seems these old, long established products really are the best. My thanks to all the other reviewers who gave me the confidence to try this team, I'm so glad I did. I really think I've found zymol performance without the price. I liked this so much I came back to Cleanyourcar to buy some more - Car-Lack shampoo to maintain my hard work and a new bilt hamber clay bar for my other car !

Moved up to Cillinite #476s & Carlack after using Meguiars Cleaner Wax for some time. Once again, brilliant service from CYC and the kit was delivered quickly. The two Micro Fibre cloths are decent quality and bigger than the cheaper ones that you can pick up in the supermarkets. The pearl pad and MF pad are OK too, usual standard affair. I cleaned the car using the usual two bucket method. I then clayed and gave a final clean. I dried the car then I applied the Carlack using the instructions in the description here. I covered all panels then checked with my finger that the product had dried. It left no streaks so I started buffing with one of the MF cloths. I then started with the Collinite by treating one half of the roof panel. I allowed to dry to a haze then removed the first quarter. I then applied to another quarter of the roof then removed the remainder of the first half. I moved round the car like this treating a panel then buffing the last. In all I applied two coats to the car. That was over two months ago and the results are still impressive. Even with a good layer of road grime the paintwork beads well. I have since cleaned the car twice using two bucket method, dryed and applied quick detailer. In all I am very impressed and still have lots of product left, more than enough to treat the car again in the Spring and next Autumn. I took the advice that less is more, i.e. Apply sparingly which aids removal. I am very happy with this combo and will be buying again once it is finally used up.

I've been a casual cleaning enthusiast for a long time. Having stepped up to using a clay bar for the first time this year, I was really pleased with the improvement on my usual wash and paste wax routine. However, the addition of this pre-wax cleanser and wax kit is something else. As well as my two cars (red and dark grey), I've tried these products on black and light metallic green cars belonging to friends/family, and the results were equally impressive. It's not just the longevity of the finish that impresses, but the amazing clarity of the paint when finished! The trick is to apply both products sparingly using the applicators supplied in the kit (moistening them first makes application a breeze and helps keep the layers thin). I usually work my way around the whole car with the Collinite and then buff off. With the wax, I apply to a panel or two at a time, then buff off. All in all, the best £32.95 I've spent on my car in a long, long time!

I bought this combination of products because I wanted to use the 476 to protect the patina on our 1971 VW Bus, having read about 476 on various forums. This is the first time I've used anything other than the normal run of the mill products available from motor factors. I tried it first on my black Panda and I'm very impressed with the ease of application and the finish, bring on the rain! I would recommend it to anyone who wants to keep their car looking good.

Never bought as a combo - bought two products separately after going for the Carlack68, then decided to add the wax after browsing the site. New to looking after my cars and tested the products on the wife's wee red and black Citroen DS3. Carlack so easy on and off - left on for 20mins, then buffed off - the results at this tage were amazing! Left car overnight then applied Collinite the following day. Again - really easy on and off (contrary to many reviews I have read) and the results are magnificent! Car looks better than it did coming out the showroom last year and the beading is fantastic - really impressed with the products and overall service. They will last a while too. Need to pluck up the courage to do the Kuga now! Will be back to buy the CarLack Shampoo soon too.

Really good combo - Easy to apply, as well as to buff off. Used it on my 2011 Toyota Aygo, and what a difference it made. Furthermore, the beading is outstanding!
