Chemical Guys Orange Medium-Heavy Cutting Pad - This firm, high density foam is ideal for scratch and defect removal. The orange foam offers the correction of a typical compounding pad whilst at the same time allowing the polishing ability of light cut foam pad.
When used with heavier compounds it will remove moderate swirls and scratches with little or no haze. It s an all around pad that will work on most light to moderate imperfections.

“Used in conjunction with my Vertool DA-21 machine and Sonax polishes on a really beaten up old Corsa as a practise. I followed the advice of the Junkman videos on YouTube (highly recommended if you're as new to machine polishing as I am). This ensured that I used surprisingly little polish, and achieved a really good result! I found that after a few panels, the pad started to look a little bit caked up. Probably more due to my lack of technique on my first go, but I have read before that you'll need a few pads to get a whole car done. Without letting the pad dry out, I gave it a wash in a bucket of warm soapy water, massaging the polish out of it. When happy that it was clean, I rinsed in clean running water, and then left to air dry. Now good as new and ready to go again. A good pad - will order some more of these”

“The orange medium cut 4" Hex Logic Pad was purchased because I couldn't get hold of a green 4" Rupes pad but it turned out to be an excellent medium cutting pad. The diameter is crucial for me as the smaller size assists in getting into smaller confined areas on my Lexus LS460. I would recommend the Hex Pad as it looks and feels like it will last a long time.”

“Great for bumpers and tight areas, used this pad on a DAS-6 PRO with some Chemical Guys V36 and it cut through swirls and scratches very well without many passes.”

“Not a bad thing to say about these pads. Great finish pending on product used, spreads evenly without clogging and easy to clean in comparison to other pad suppliers I've used. All in all, a great product from Chemical Guys as usual!!!”
