Carbon Collective Platinum Wheels — high-temp, chemical-resistant ceramic coating for alloys & calipers

Carbon Collective Platinum Wheel sealant is an ultra-durable 9H coating which can be used on painted, powder coated, bare metal aluminium and stainless finishes. Once applied, the coating becomes the active layer on top of the wheels surface, protecting them from dirt, brake dust contaminants & even scratches.

With a resistance to heat up to 350 degrees, it makes it ideal for protecting precious vehicle components for engine, brakes, wheels & suspension.

This 15ml bottle has enough product to protect 6-8 wheels (size dependant) Carbon Collective Platinum Wheels can also be used to coat metal centre caps and exhaust tips.

Durable for a minimum of 2 years on a full application (two coats), wheels become effortless to clean & maintain.

Platinum Wheels is safe to be used on the following finishes:

Bare Metal (alloy, copper, steel, stainless, titanium)

“This is a follow up to a previous review. I've lifted my rating to 4 stars from 3 as I've had time to see how this product performs. I still think it wasn't the easiest product to apply and it has left a slightly crazed finish, possibly from me applying too much coating, or not sufficient buffing, I don't know. What it has done is managed to keep brake dust from adhering to to corners of the spokes which is always the most difficult place on a rim I'm my opinion. I purposely left the wheels for 1000 miles and was happy to see the brake dust was easily removed. Even with the less than perfect finish this coating has left, the fact it has made cleaning easier and it has out lasted the previous ceramic coating I used, I'm happy with cost and time spent applying.”

“Second time I've used a ceramic coating on wheels and I'm hoping this one is better than the last. Both were applied to either a brand new rim or in this case a freshly powder coated rim. C5 wheel armour was what I used first time around and it was so poor I put it down to me not applying it properly, even if I did follow all the steps. Process to apply this was the same not unsurprisingly. Panel wipe and brand-new microfiber towels. Firstly, getting the product out the bottle wasn't the easiest. A case of shaking the bottle to persuade the contents to drop out(I believe this was an improved container, but could be wrong). The applicator worked well and the actual application was easy enough. What was harder was the light buffing that is required within 1 to 2 minutes. The product wanted to drag on the cloth and I was reluctant to buff any harder for fear of removing to much of it. I think this I why I had what looked like high sections of product and some marks left behind from the towel. Now the wheels are on the car these defects can be seen, again this could all be easily down to my application alone. Time will tell if it actually allows the wheels to be easily cleaned. The C5 wheel armour lasted two months at best. Fingers crossed.”

“After polishing my wheels i chose this to protect them. Go's on easy and buffs off nicely. Cant comment on longevity as it's only been two weeks.”

“Arrived earlier than predicted (excellent service from cleanyourcar as always) and found the product to be very easy to use. Made sure my wheels were spanking clean first of course then a quick whip round them all with IPA cleaner. Platinum wheels - super product, I am expecting 2-3 years of protection and I have enough product left to coat maybe 2 more wheels ! I applied two coats and my wheels are 18x8j in size. Will be a go-to product from now on I expect”
