Great coating. Works well on wheels. Excellent on plastic. Protects and darkens trim at same time. Takes a bit of effort to apply, buff off and cure, but it lasts months and is well worth it.

Easy to apply. Great hydrophobic ability and gives the trim a deep sheen. A bit tacky to buff off, but might have needed a higher temperature or left longer to cure. Will I use it again? Absolutely!

Like many other people the plastic trim on a car of mine has been badly affected by UV exposure. Trouble, there's lot of it. And trying to keep it looking at least half-decent is a chore as the various trim restorers on the market are just a short-term fix. So the DLUX sealant kit is going to be perfect for me. One treatment and the issue is gone for at least a lot longer than a fortnight. That's the theory. And so far it seems to be hanging in there too, which is nice. But I do have some reservations about the product. It doesn't really cure tiger-striping; it can still be clearly visible in areas after the sealant has been applied. And it can be tricky to apply consistently - it's critical to use the cloths over the sponge applicator. But overall it does do a good job and so I'd certainly recommend it worth trying to others.

Preparation is important to get a good result, I cleaned the plastic then wiped it over with isopropyl alcohol. Using the pad supplied it was quick to apply the product and it went on well and covered well, have to be careful to get even thin application or streaks do show when it dries, but having tested on a small area first the technique was simple to get the hang of. Once dry it looks pretty much like new, not too Shiny and a good even colour. Worth the extra cost over usual high street products now wait to see how long it lasts.

Not bad. Still saw fading after a week on my vw golf mk2 arches even with an ipa wipedown. On the newer plastics it is amazing! Not as good as gtechniq C4 but DLUX is a bigger bottle. (Just my opinion) Looks like a thinned down version of gtechniq c4 dare i say. Worth having in the pro detailers workshop but if like me you have grey dry plastics - heat gun treat them first, then apply DLUX or you are wasting your time.
