Chemical Guys Hex-Logic Yellow Heavy Cutting Pad - Use this pad to apply compounds or polishes to remove severe oxidation, swirls, and scratches in conjunction with a polishing compound. It is the most aggressive and should only be used on oxidized and older finishes.
Always follow this pad with an orange pad and a fine polish and then a white pad to refine the paint until it is smooth.

“These pads have a problem of over heating and detaching from the velcro, they can also break up. They do, however, fit nicely between the Rupes blue and green pads in your cutting pad box.”

“I used it on black paint with deep scratches and swirls, deep scratches could not be removed completely. For light scratches and swirls perfect.”

“I used it for a BMW E39, which is known for hard paint. I used this with Megs #105 and its a very well combinations. No marring etc. just removing all the scratches and this is wit just one pass. imagine if I done 3 passes. Must buy, just like all the other reviews it is a good product. Essential for BMW paint.”

“Onlky just started to use this to see if it will help remove some of the deeper scratches the Orange pad doesnt. Its ok but very firm. Will add more when i have used it more”

“This pad is very hard and good to use on scratches/heavily swirled paint... This pad get 1500grit sanding marks out very easy”
