Surfex HD attacks all oil and grease-based soiling, but unlike solvent-based cleaners will additionally and effortlessly clean organic or water-deposited grime. Surfex HD can be adjusted in strength to suit the level of soil, remaining active at add levels of just 1% in water for light work, or used neat for extreme duty.
Bilt Hamber Surfex HD is recommended for all arduous automotive, commercial and domestic cleaning duties.

How to use:
Surfex HD is used on cool surfaces diluted from 1:1–1:20 heavy grease & grime; 1:20–1:50 general traffic film & road grime; 1:80–1:100 light interior duties.
Saturate greasy surfaces leave for a few moments
Agitate heavy soil with stiff bristled brush
Rinse surface with clean water
Always spot test before use

Surfex HD is one of those rare products that genuinely earns its reputation. It’s been a staple for us for years when we’re washing our own cars, mainly because it’s so versatile and offers outstanding value for money. Diluted correctly, it’ll comfortably cover everything from heavier pre-wash duties right through to more delicate interior cleaning.
Technically, it’s an environmentally friendly, water-based APC that relies on smart surfactant chemistry rather than aggressive solvents. That’s what gives it such a wide working range. Stronger dilutions are ideal for cutting through road film, greasy engine bays, and heavily soiled tyres, while milder ratios work perfectly on plastics, fabrics, and general interior surfaces.
Tyres are where it really shines for us. Even at sensible dilutions, it strips old dressing and ingrained grime with ease, leaving a properly clean surface ready for fresh protection. The difference when applying a new tyre dressing to a genuinely clean tyre is immediately noticeable.
