“Before I start, this is no reflection on cleanyourcar.co.uk, they are great and tried to rectify this, it's the product that is rubbish!! First bottle arrived, sprayed the car twice, quite heavily, sprayed on the carpet mats - nothing. Contacted these guys and they sent me another bottle, tried again - same results, nothing!! I was hoping this would be like Poorboys Leather Air Freshener and as this is always difficult to get I thought I would try Chemical Guys version, no comparison so back to trying to find Poorboys Leather Air Freshener spray!”

“Having read the reviews for this product I thought I would give it a go. Seemed like it had some popularity and the comments were extremely positive. Knowing what leather smells like I was happy with my interior smelling as such. After spraying this product however all I had was a chemically mix of diluted TCP and insecticide smell. Really nothing like leather and just smells awful. It's the sort of smell you would shut your windows too incase it can make you poorly. Very clinical chemical smell that frankly Is not desirable. Several car passengers have commented on the smell and it really is not pleasant. Certainly nothing like leather or new car.”

“In the past, I have only used vanilla scent in my cars, I find others I have used to be somewhat overpowering. Having a car with leather I decided to try to replicate the smell of new leather and I found that Chemiical Guys does that very well. I can't say how long the product will last but I didn't use very much in my car to achieve the desired result. I think it represents value for money.”

“I have used the new car smell spray before and wasn't too convinced it smelled real but the leather scent just put that hint of new car smell back in to the car. I made the mistake of giving my wife's car a couple of sprays in each footwell (front and back) and it has taken a week for the smell to subside. I gave my car one spray in each footwell which is more than enough and I have a pleasant smell which is definitely leather if you concentrate but if just getting in to the car it smells like a new car does. It is still noticeable after a week.”

“I purchased a brand new car around 8 months ago that has full leather interior and it had that lovely brand new car smell mixed in with the smell coming from all the leather interior and leather seats . But after many months of smoking premium cigars in it well that smell has long gone . So after missing that smell i was searching for car fresheners and particularly leather scents to get my car into that smell it once had when coming out of the showroom . When the bottle of this arrived i test sprayed it into a room and a massive smile on my face came because it smelled EXACTLY like real leather and exactly the same leather smell my car had . i then sprayed it into the foot wells of my car and i can honestly say when opening the car doors and that aroma of rich fresh leather comes out it feels like my car has been revived . Awesome product for the chemical guys .”
