Autoglym Fast Glass - Rapid, smear-free clarity for glass

Engineered for fast, smear-free results, Autoglym Fast Glass (FG500) uses a high-flash solvent system and low-residue surfactants to dissolve road film, oily fingerprints, nicotine haze and light organic soils on contact. The balanced wetting agents break surface tension so contamination lifts cleanly, while the rapid evaporation profile leaves no waxes, silicones or abrasive fillers behind—just crisp optical clarity. Unlike solvent-heavy dressings, Fast Glass is formulated to be safe on mineral glass and common automotive plastics (Perspex/acrylic/polycarbonate) and won’t leave hydrophobic films that can cause wiper judder or rainbowing under street lights.

On interiors, the low-foaming chemistry minimises streaking and drying marks, making it ideal for infotainment glass, mirrors and gloss trims (apply to the cloth first). Externally, it cuts through traffic film and bug residues without layering gloss enhancers that interfere with subsequent coatings or glass sealants. The result is a neutral, residue-free substrate that plays nicely with rain repellents, ceramics or traditional glass polishes.

How to Use:

Work on cool surfaces out of direct sun.
Spray a light mist onto a short-pile, lint-free glass towel (avoid soaking).
Wipe in straight, overlapping passes to lift contamination.
Flip to a dry side (or a second towel) and cross-hatch buff to absolute clarity.
For plastics/screens, always apply to the towel—not directly—to prevent excess wetting at panel edges.

“I've used this product in the past but had ran out, so ordered more. I used to use household window cleaner but this product is far better. It requires minimal effort to clean your windows and it's amazing how stream free the results are.”

“I receive a new (straight from the factory) company car every 3-6 months and the glass is covered in a protective coating that is a pain to get completely clear. I have used a few glass cleaners and so far this one is peforming well. It cuts through most of the gunk on the first clean and leaves no signs of any streaking in most light conditions. I will continue to search for a wonder product, but this is pretty good stuff and certainly pokes its head up above many window cleaners I have tried.”
