Auto Finesse Iron Out is a heavy-duty, pH-neutral decontamination gel designed to eradicate the most stubborn ferrous metal particles. These sharp shards of brake dust and industrial fallout embed themselves into your vehicle's paintwork, glass, and wheels, where they can cause long-term oxidation and pitting if left untreated. Standard washing alone cannot remove these bonded contaminants; they require a chemical solution.
As Iron Out is applied, its advanced reactive formula begins to dissolve iron particles on contact. The gel undergoes a dramatic colour change, turning blood-red as it liquefies the metallic debris and locks it into a water-soluble solution. This process ensures that abrasive particles are safely rinsed away without the need for mechanical force, making it an essential first step before claying, polishing, or applying ceramic protection.

Pro Tip: For the most thorough decontamination, apply Iron Out to a clean, wet vehicle in the shade. While the product is bleeding, you can gently agitate the surface with a foam applicator to refresh the chemical reaction before rinsing thoroughly with high pressure. Never allow the product to dry on the surface.
Note: Iron Out is not suitable for use on wrapped vehicles or matte paint finishes, as it may cause defects to the finish or lift edges of the vinyl.

How to Use Auto Finesse Iron Out:
Auto Finesse Iron Out should be used as part of a multi-stage decontamination process, in between tar removal and claying. This process should be performed at least twice a year (before winter and after) on daily-driven vehicles before applying a car wax or paint sealant, or before any polishing work is performed.
If you are unsure of whether or not your car has ferrous contamination, spray Iron Out directly onto a yellow Foam Pad, and wipe the product on a small section of your vehicle’s paint or wheels. We can almost guarantee that you will immediately witness a chemical reaction, alerting you that you have iron fallout that needs to be removed. This reaction is often referred to as ‘Bleeding’, as the solution turns blood red where it contacts iron fallout, temporarily highlighting the contamination while it is dissolved.
