Shinemate - 5" (125mm) Soft Interface Pad
The Shinemate 5" Soft Interface Pad sits between the backing plate and sanding discs to improve abrasive cut and finish.
The soft foam backup pad flexes to the shape of your vehicle to deliver uniform results from bumper to bumper. The Shinemate 5" Soft Interface Pad improves your results during sanding, refinishing and spot repair projects. The foam pad improves the sanding disc's ability to follow the curves and contours of a vehicle, which ultimately creates a smoother, more uniform finish.
It can also be used with microfibre pads to give extra control over the contours of a surface.
The Soft Interface Pad features hook and loop fasteners to attach securely to 3M sanding or finishing discs. This pad is ideal suited to all 125mm dual action backing plates such as the the Shinemate Dual Action Flexi Plate
