ShineMate - 5" Microfibre Cutting Pad
The ShineMate Microfibre Cutting Pad is a 125mm (5 inch) pad designed to offer exceptional levels of correction on dual action polishers. Used in conjunction with a correction compound it's possible to tackle scratches and swirls on even the toughest paints whist creating high levels of gloss.
The pad has a firm foam layer and edge to edge backing and utilises the latest bonding techniques.

“I was having some issues with polishing pads and struggling to find a good pad for my das 6, it appeared any pad i used would self destruct around the half way point of doing a vehicle polish. I noticed the edge of my backing plate would eat in to the pad and a heat spot would happen in the center eventually resulting in the velcro backing coming away. Well today these pads arrived first impression's i was quite disappointed at the pads thickness it is rather thin and i did think this would hinder or cause me issue's, how wrong i was. If you are used to using a dual action machine you will know how easily a poorly weighted or unbalance pad can throw your machine out it is certainly not the case with this pad its almost effortless and glides across the cars body work giving a lovely even cut and polish on par with a medium cut foam pad but leaving more of a finished looked to the panel. The quality of the pad is excellent and once washed it looks like new again, i can see me getting atleast 3 -4 full car polishes out of a single a pad possible more who knows!. Fantastic product”
