SONAX ProfiLine Polymer Net Shield - 210ml

Surface protection using Hybrid Polymer Technology for all paintwork surfaces.

Sonax Polymer Net Shield protects the paintwork by means of a resistant network of organic and inorganic components. This new generation of polymers produces crisp, clear reflections while protecting paintwork from UV rays, acid rain, bird droppings, airborne contaminants and even road salt.

Quick and easy to apply, it intensively freshens up the colours and produces a silky soft surface with an outstanding lotus effect. The perfect complement to paintwork sealing with SONAX ProfiLine Nano paint protect.

Our Thoughts:

"Developed for their professional line of products, Sonax Polymer Net Shield is a gem of a product. It's a hybrid mix of organic and inorganic polymers. The organic polymers give it a strong hydrophobic characteristics (Lotus effect) whilst the inorganic polymers create a durable base. Sonax Polymer Net Shield is packaged in a aerosol to prevent the contents being exposed to oxygen ast he hybrid polymers immediately start to cross link and harden. The added bonus is it makes it extremely easy to apply, by either misting the surface or applying to an applicator pad first.

This is German care care at its best, innovative and cost effective. We love not just how crisp this makes paint look but it's ease of application and durability"

Excellent product to apply after machine polishing. Early days but so far the protection is first class. Very easy to apply.

Applied this the first time for a few years ago. Direct spray at a sponge applicator (moved away from the paint) - moved across the paint and suddenly buffed. Leaves a crisp finish and the water repellancy is truly impressive. Would give it four stars, but the aerosol format and the price resulting in 5 stars.

I have never had difficulty applying it, but had to add my admiration for this product. Can't remember the last time I detailed with it but when washing today, how much it still beads is quite impressive, would show a photo if I knew how.

Having previously used waxes and wax-sealants like Bilt Hamber Double Speed-Wax, I fancied a change. Online reviews about PNS being grabby and hard to buff off deterred me for a year or two, but I finally got around to trying it. After a good wash and clay, I machined the car with Dodo Juice Lime Prime (I didn't have any BH Cleansing Fluid left) and then wiped down with Gyeon Prep to remove the oily residues etc. Sonax PNS goes on very easily using a foam applicator, looking and feeling like very bubbly/frothy water with a slight oily feel to it. It stretches well, and I didn't find it at all grabby unless I spread it too thinly occasionally. Just keep your applicator damp with product, do a half panel at a time, and you'll be golden. If left to flash off for 30 seconds or so, it wipes away with no effort, and leaves a nice darkened/glossy look to the paint. I'd read reviews saying it leaves a grabby finish, but I can't say that I agree. It definitely feels 'different' to bare polished paint, but it's still ultra smooth. Imagine an invisible layer of ultra thin liquid rubber - smooth but 'thick' feeling when you rub it, versus the glassy slippery feeling of bare polished paint. It's a bit like that. It leaves an almost carnauba style warmth topped with a hard glossy glow, which surprised me. Water and contamination just falls off the paint, so I can easily see this lasting the claimed 6 months. As a bonus it's black plastic safe, and can also be used on headlights and trim. Highly recommended!

Acts like a high end sealant but for low end wax money. Great gloss and oustanding beading! The water behaviour is truely amazing.

Another awesome product from Sonax. After much consideration and I chose this for my long term protection. Having machined the car I used the paint prepare to prep the panels to ensure PNS had optimum chance to bond. Easy to apply, I've found a small foam pad best to apply it with. Spray on pad and wipe over half a panel at a time, then wipe before it dries. Finish is clean and sharp on my silver paintwork. Product has now been on for 9 months and 8'000 miles. Still beading and sheeting water like day one. Excellent product and ideal to run along side BSD giving months of protection with very little effort.
