“Got through Immigration quickly and found our way on the blue air train from The International terminal to Alamo’s rental desk easy to navigate. Arrived about an hour earlier than expected, the agent said not to worry, once paperwork filled out you can have the car early (no charge). I had pre-filled out the information before arriving in San Francisco which made the process simpler. To be honest I was expecting the hard sell on insurance and other products, I had no need to worry, there were no pressure tactics. The agent was helpful in answering any questions I had. Overall it took about 10mins at the desk. Went through to the car pick up area, no Ford Edge AWD available, told not to worry, could have a bigger car as three were available. Settled on a Ford Explorer AWD which had google sat nav built in. The car was about six months old with around 16,700 miles on clock. The fuel was full with a range of 385 miles showing. The lady explained the features. We saw a few minor issues (minor scratches and dents) told to point out to the agent on leaving the airport. On leaving the agent didn’t seemed bothered but just said we already know without leaving the booth. I would have liked a bit more interaction here. The car drove well and we had no issues at all during the hire. On returning again no checks made by staff with me. A bit more interaction in checking the car would have made me feel better. Car returned full with a tank showing 446miles. Overall I have no major issues, I did take photographs before and after of the car just in case. The only gripe, I did not need the 14 pages of printed material I was asked to printout, not sure if the norm. For me it was a waste of paper and ink. I would rent again from Clarify and Alamo again.”

“Very helpful after bit of bother with providing a car with conventional sat nav. Not everyone has internet connected phones especially if from outside USA. It all went smoothly from then on. Could also have advised tolls paid automatically. Car was fine.”

“Very quick at the desk. Staff were polite, courteous and professional explaining all the charges. SUV was clean and easy to drive. Drop off and return was easy and quick. Would recommend Alamo to others.”
