“The clamps are quite good value. However the plastic inserts have not been moulded correctly to fit the clamps. I have either discarded them and inserted my own material or cut the plastic inserts in half and fixed them with adhesive to the clamp.”

Sorry to here that you were not happy with your order and you have received some issues with the plastics inserts for the clamps.
I would love to know the order that the clamps were on, as it looks like our manufacture has supplier the incorrect inserts. We do have correct inserts to replace this and sort your issue, please could you let me know if you would like me to send the inserts to yourself.
