Great quality and price

The quality seems good to me. Like many another dressmaker I use it as a supporting material for garments made of other fabrics. When called for, there is no substitute for silk organza in the process of garment construction. Synthetic versions just do not work. To find it at an affordable price is a unique opportunity.

I haven't used the silk organza, but I have compared it to another piece in my stash, and it is lovely. I'm happy to find a source of silk organza that is relatively inexpensive as I want to use it to underline garments to give structure. And for those who don't know, silk organza makes the best pressing cloth that you'll ever use. It stands up to heat and steam, and you can see through it, which is so much better than a cotton press cloth. If you're a sewist and aren't yet using a silk organza press cloth, you should buy a metre just for that purpose. Be prepared to overlock the raw edges or hem in some way because it does ravel, but it will last you a long time!!
