“I use the 4 part system for 1,5 years and the dosing is very easy and simple. Keeps the parameters stable but I did a few ICP test and I need to extra dose manganise and magnesium.
Also when I received the last delivery 2 weeks ago the Part 2 (Alkalinity) had a lots of white chunks and miliky colour. I could not even calibrate my dosing pump. I contacted to Red Sea they said sometimes it happens and they recommended to put the bottle into hot water. I did it 2 times 1 time half an hour second time more than an hour and it still had some small particles in it.
Also I am using the small one for 3 month on my 20 gallon mixed reef tank so the 3 month on the 150 L is not too aqurate maybe just when you have soft corals.
My corals look great, growing quite slowly. Of course there are many varriables but because of my bad experiance of the last bottles (it was very time consuming and painful I had to re-calibrate my dosing heads 3 times) I am thinking to change to another dosing method when I run out of the curent bottles.
However the Red Sea 4 part system works great, very easy to dose and keeps the parameters stable.”
