“Exactly how it is described. If you alreday have an MP40 set up and looking for a new wet side (inside the aquarium) this is a direct replacment and also an improved version. If you have an MP40 that no longer holds to the glass or thw hole body is starting to spin it is most likely the magnet in the dry side and may reqiure a dry side replacemnet. If you are unsure and have other MP40 pumps I would recomend swapping the pumps around for a process of elimintaion to figure out which replamecent would be best for your situation”
