“Ordered this to replace an old D&D slimline bracket. Was slightly dissatisfied. Found it unnecessarily complicated to assemble. This was not helped by the fact that the rails holding the brackets were cut too tightly and with excess material leaving me having to use a file and sandpaper in order to get the brackets to slide in. Not the quality I would expect when you pay over 螢100 for a bracket.
What I will say is once eventually put together it is a nice looking, sturdy bracket for the hydra.”
“The bracket is not suitable for Aqua One tanks which have a thin metal surround at the top. The clamp on the bracket doesn課ｪt work unless you have wedges to pack in between the surround and the bracket clamp. With clamps the light is too heavy and will fall / break the surround or bracket.
The light is better supported by bolting to a wall or suspending the light using two uprights above the tank.
The bracket does not warrant such a hefty price tag. It課ｪs not good value for money”
