“Eheim has always been my choice for a reliable heater. My last 300w Eheim Jager done me 9 years and never failed. I put it into retirement this month using the Eheim Thermocontrol. It seems to have a very different heating element from the Jager but it is definately maintaining the tank at a more stable temperature. The green light being on is a help as you know it has reached the fully set temperature, as alot of heaters you don't know their alive and kicking until a small light comes on. Definately happy with my upgraded replacement and fantastic packaging and shipping service.
