“Required approx 1 part sand to 9 parts water to rinse. I used a pint beaker, added 1 pint of sand: 3 pints water in a bucket, swirled, drained dirty water and repeated 3 times with clean water. (I found the best way to drain all the water on the final rinse was to lay a t-towel in my colander, with corners overhanging, empty the entire bucket contents onto that then you can gather corners together and squeeze most water out) this was a very long process for me as I had 30kg to do altogether but I only had very slight clouding when added to my tank that my filters cleared in a few hrs. My plants look very healthy as it's perfect for burying fertiliser tabs, my fish look brighter in colour and looks stunning. Overall im very happy with this purchase.”
