“Honest opinion... Meh.
Bought for a Aguanano 55 (50L) cube tank. The
bracket is not long enough to reach the centre of the tank so maybe it's just too small of a light for this size tank which could explain my experience
Bluetooth connection feels like a bit of a gimmick and is quite fiddly although does give more control than a basic light so it is what it is. I also think that the light should have an inbuilt timer as power loss resets the lights timer to midnight which could result in you gassing your fish with co2 if you were away. It is not possible to plug it into a separate timer either.
I have been unable to get a decent colour rendition where the light is bright enough. Light is very bright with all LED's in use but the colour is awful. Light in a suitable colour rendition is a bit better than the included basic LED but not enough to be worth the money.
I chose this light because it was one of the few that could be used with the glass cover included with the tank and wasn't ugly to look at.
The design of the housing is good but would be better if additional (longer) bracket options were available if I intended to put up with the light I would have to make a replacement. As it is I will likely keep looking for something better.
