Having now settled down and stabilised it課ｪs ripping skimate out of the system like no tomorrow.
The controllable DC pump helps massively with fine tuning the Skimmer, it was a breeze!
It課ｪs super quite surprisingly given the sheer power. A faint humming at most. Not distracting in my living room.
The collection cup is the simplest I課ｪve ever had when it comes to removal. No spills, no fighting to remove.
The built in auto cut out when the collection cup is full has to be the best idea about this skimmer... why don課ｪt all skimmers come with this feature as standard?! I課ｪve found it to be a must have.
To conclude, this is a faultless protein skimmer and built to a very high quality. the pump and controller are brilliant.
I wish it didn課ｪt come in Red is about the only negative I could think of, that課ｪs just being super picky though.”
“Not as useful as you expect. At least 3 of the holes on the main tray cannot be used as the magnet blocks them, and the extension pieces don't add all that much because so much has to be slotted in to give them stability. I wouldn't buy this again.”
“The magnetic frame does not fit uniformly around the light fitting leading to light bleeding at the joint. Seems very cheaply made for the price, which is par for the course with Ecotech Marine. The diffuser itself makes a huge difference to the light distribution, just a real shame that it doesn課ｪt fit properly.”
