“It is a great wavemaker for the price. Very compact size. My biggest gripe is that if you put into any mode other than the constant flow, you cannot regulate the power. I got this pump bigger than needed to enable me to only use around 60% capacity to keep the noise down, and rmap up power should I need to when corals grow. However in reef wave or stepped it only allows you to adjust the frequency meaning it will always run up to 100% flow. And this thing hums at 100% power as it is not quiet.”
“It's fairly basic in its operation no WiFi. They provide you with an octopus type sucker spacer presumably to stop too much vibration, at full constant speed this was evident but after a few weeks use it is less evident now.”
“Great little pump so far. Quiet, and not too much for my very large hammer coral centrally located in the tank. Easily angled, this pump has an assortment of heads and three different settings, each of which has speeds that are adjustable. The control box is easy to use as well. I can see me ordering a second pump in the near future.
