I have a Tuna Sun and a Tuna Blue light on different tanks and have used the dongle interchangeably between the two - just removed it and plugged into the other light.
Eventually I'll probably get a second dongle, as that allows a lot more features (e.g. moon cycle, individual control over colours), but my Tuna Sun is currently an additional light on a planted tank, which doesn't need a dongle as I'm just controlling it with a smart timer plug.
My Tuna Blue has the dongle and is running a complex schedule on a Malawi growout tank.
Great piece of kit. Maybe it's a bit annoying that Kessil makes you pay the additional cost for the dongle, but as Wifi control isn't always needed, I quite like the way I have modular control, and know exactly what is responsible for the Wifi operation, rather than having a hidden Wifi chip in-built, which could potentially go faulty inside the lighting unit.”
