“I was really disappointed to find that 15ppi pre filter pads came with my new Oase Biomaster 2. Completely pointless as they catch nothing. However, fit a set of these and the difference is incredible; crystal clear water and poop & debris caught before it reaches the all important bio filter medium! I can't measure the flow rate but it looks the same to me. I clean the pads every two weeks and that seems to be the sweet spot for my tank.
If you've got or are thinking of buying an Oase Biomaster get a set of these too, fantastic upgrade.”
