“Great wave maker so far for the money, a few settings to get your flow 'just right' and the constant, pulsing wave and sinewave wave and random modes all work perfectly.
It is worth noting that when this turned up, it was very noisy, I took it apart (like you would to clean it) and reassembled it and it was a tiny bit quieter. I was going to send it back but thought I would have a go at lubing it.
I used 'Aqualube' on the shaft, both ends of the propeller the plastic end and magnet end and then a bit into the rubber cups that both ends of the shaft push into. The result...TOTALLY SILENT!!
I hope people see this review because I've seen loads of people say they've sent these back as too noisy. If it lasts with proper maintenance even if you have to change it every couple of years with the cost of them, it's a no brainer as the vortech MPs are extortionate in my opinion and they don't seem to have any better reliability!”
