This tank is a great equipment to start you saltwater journey with! Charterhouse aquatics delivered this to me the next day after ordering. It was very well packaged.

So far, so good! I'm currently in the middle of cycling the tank ready for corals and fish. The quality of the individual components inside the box are as to be expected from Fluval. The only slight issue I had was where you have to pop out the plastic for the cable holes and the skimmer hole, the area of the lid next to the skimmer hole is quite thin and mine snapped. It doesn't impact the function of the lid, but it's just slighty annoying that it broke so easily. The other slight issue that I had is that the supplied tubing for the return pump could do with being a little bit longer. There is quite a lot of tension on mine in order for the outlet fittings to fit properly. The other thing I would mention is that the recommended heater is the Fluval M series 50W. There are several reports on multiple forums that the heater no longer fits properly due to an update on either the tank or the heater. It was recommended to me to try the E series 50W instead, and after buying this I have found that this one is ever so slightly too large by a couple of mm and the lid sits up ever so slightly if you have the heater in the same chamber as the return pump (as is shown in the instructions). If you are not planning on getting a skimmer for this tank, you can just place the heater inside the first chamber and there is plenty of room.

A great starter reef tank with everything you need, apart from the heater. LED is all alright not limited to either white or blue. It is suggested to have a skimmer but I don't think it is necessary as long as you don't have too many fish in the tank. Regular water change will get rid of most excess food waste so you should be okay.

Product is easy to set up and all you have to buy is a heater.
