Hello Timothy, I'm sorry to see that you are not 100% happy with the Whippet collar you ordered from us. Looking back at the order details I can see that it was for the collar only and so the lead you are using was not made by Petiquette. The Petiquette leads have clasps which are sized appropriately for their width so that they can be attached to and unclipped from their collars' d-rings with ease. The Petiquette Whippet collars narrow to 3/4" width at the buckle and we recommend using a Petiquette lead with a width of either 3/4" or 1".
