“This is a fabulous mattress, which fits perfectly into my puppy's crate. (I also bought the waterproof liner--definitely a good idea.) I did not initially buy the bumpers to go with the mattress (around the inside of the crate), but began to wish that I had. To my amazement, the bumpers came up on ebay, so I bought them--and was very glad that I had. When I had first inserted just the mattress (replacing the old VetBed fluffy stuff that I'd originally put in there), my puppy was evidently much more comfortable. After inserting the bumpers though, it was even better. She could now snuggle against the bumpers, thereby sleeping better--so we all sleep better! Her crate is massive, and I intend to use it for her long-term, so this mattress was a good investment. Had I not been fortunate enough to find matching bumpers on ebay, I would really have regretted not buying the bumpers at the same time as the mattress. Both the mattress and the bumpers are definitely worth the investment. I'm now wishing I'd bought my puppy a fleece blanket too!”
