Made from UK grown Hemp, IndiTherm is a high-density, flexible Natural Fibre insulation made from Hemp. Suitable for most situations where flexible insulations are used, such as; roof spaces, suspended floors, timber frame walls, etc. Though IndiTherm is a flexible insulation, its high density makes it rigid enough to "friction fit" between structural framing. This makes Inditherm particularly great to use in areas where insulation can be prone to slumping, such as walls or where work is above your head during installation. “Excellent product and not expensive. It was easier to cut and fit, compared to sheepswool ( which is more flimsy and often needs supporting) and Steicoflex ( which I found is more rigid than I had expected - certainly the 100 mm batts are very hard to push in very much). I could easily fit the IndiTherm hemp 370 mm batt into a 330 mm gap and it also remains in place in a 360 or 365 mm gap. Cutting was also easy ( wearing a mask)and also easier to be accurate. I found a normal wood saw was ok, but I needed to lay the batt on a flat surface and then cut in from the top ie I was cutting horizontally to the depth of the 80 mm batt rather than cutting more vertically , as you would if cutting timber. I wish I had discovered this product before !! Sheepswool is fine in the loft, but I think this is much better if fitting vertically or fitting above between joists”

“Fantastic product. I bought the 100mm thick stuff. Much more rigid than the sheep wool insulation we have previously used - easier to push fit between joists. Will definitely use again. And as ever a first class service from the knowledgeable staff at Celtic!”
