“Solved the problem of the slow flow into the header tank when using small amounts of water. this was not driving the turbine in the water softner, resulting in hard water. This quickstop float valve delays the fill until it is a reasonable amount and the valve opens an causes a good flow.”

“I have pumped spring water to a header tank and this has stopped the pump cycling every time a tap is turned on or toilet flushed. Works a treat.”

“I fitted this valve to the header tank to increase fill rate as the power showers ran out of water. It has definitely made a difference. You need a ‘tap tail’ to fit it.”
