Earthborn Furniture Wax is a clear wax that provides a water-repellant satin finish to interior wood surfaces. It can also be used over Earthborn Claypaint to produce a durable and decorative effect on furniture. Waxed surfaces will remain breathable, protected and maintained, repelling water, dust and grease. While the wax is water-repellant it doesn't form a fully sealed protective layer against strongly pigmented liquids such as coffee, fruit juices or wine. Because of its microporous structure, these types of liquids can penetrate through the wax layer and may reach the underlying surface, potentially leading to stains that are difficult to remove. We wouldn’t recommend long term contact of waxed furniture with water (so avoid keeping waxed furniture outside).
