Sheeps Wool Insulation by Thermafleece. Their Cosywool rolls are an easy to use sheeps wool insulation, supplied in compressed packed rolls for quick installation.  Made from 75% sheep wool, 15% recycled polyester, and 10% polyester binder with a high recycled content, the Cosywool Rolls have all the benefits of sheep wool, while remaining a very affordable, non itch insulation. A truly sustainable insulation produced using British Wool and manufactured in the UK. Great for loft insulation, wall insulation and floor insulation. It has high acoustic insulation properties so it is also great for partition walls, campervans and as part of a soundproofing system. Sheep wool insulation has a very low embodied energy, and acts as a moisture buffer by absorbing and releasing excess moisture (can absorb up to 30% of weight for weight in 100% relative humidity conditions). Like all Thermafleece wool products, it is long-lasting, safe to handle, itch free and can contrib...

Perfect - very easy to fit, really love this insulation material - perfect for an older building that needs to 'breathe'. Highly recommended company and products.

Easy to handle and lay, ideal for insulating underneath suspended floor. Comes in various sizes and lengths so only have to purchase what you need. I will probably have to order more but that’s only due to me now wanting to insulate underneath my hallway now.

We wanted a wool insulation, for both its great heat and acoustic insulating properties and also because it is a natural product. Although thermafleece isn't 100% wool we were happy with the compromise as this was more affordable for us than the 100% wool insulation available. It is great to work with, no itching at all. It tears really easily width ways, although it's not so easily torn or cut with scissors lengthways. We cut to fit between different width joists but it might have been easier to just tear off pieces width ways to fit. We're really happy with it. We used it in a stud wall built to insulate a bay window and so far so good. We also used in the loft and between floor joists. Work was halted temporarily by our Cat though who enjoyed a nap on it, so he must have thought it warm and snuggly too!

A fantastic use for wool. I easily put up the insulation on my own (unless you count the dog standing in my way). It's very good at keeping the room just the right temperature and muffling out noises from the room above. Although it smelled a bit sheepy for a few days (shocker), the smell is completely gone now a month later.
